Information you give us

When you send an enquiry through the form on this site, we collect your name, phone number, and — if you choose to provide them — your email address, which property you are interested in, your dates, and any message you write.

We use this only to respond to your enquiry and to arrange a stay or an inspection. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for marketing.

Enquiries are delivered to us through Netlify, the service that hosts this website. Netlify processes and stores form submissions on our behalf.

Information collected automatically

This site uses one analytics tool so we can understand how people find us and whether the site is doing its job.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics 4 sets cookies in your browser (typically named _ga and _ga_<id>) to recognise repeat visits. It records information such as the pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, the type of device and browser you use, and how you arrived at the site.

We also record when someone taps a phone number or email address on the site, and when an enquiry is successfully submitted, so we can tell which pages actually generate contact. These records are not linked to your name or your enquiry.

This information is processed by Google, which may store it outside Australia. You can read how Google handles it at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out across all sites using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

Security and delivery

This website is delivered through Cloudflare and Netlify, which process technical information such as your IP address in order to serve pages and protect the site from abuse. This is a normal part of how any website works.

Cookies

The only cookies this site sets are the Google Analytics cookies described above. There are no advertising or social media tracking cookies. You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings; the site will continue to work normally if you do.

How long we keep things

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to deal with your booking and our ordinary business records. Google Analytics data is retained according to the setting on our Analytics property, and is aggregated rather than kept against individuals.

Access, correction and complaints

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
